ABOUT ME

I want to be a success, in every aspect of my life, I strive to be successful, I believe that this is reflected in my art. In my life I want to study business, and excel in the field, but I don’t want to leave the creative aspect of my art behind. I love my art and my art is a part of me, and who I am. It shows my deep side and allows me to feel free. My art is my stress reliever. Although, I most likely won’t be studying art in the future, art will ALWAYS be a part of who I am. I aspire to never leave my art behind, it will always, no matter what, be a part of me.

My mom is a huge inspiration to my art, and she always gives me pointers, and admires my work. She tells me that I should become a photographer, although this may not be a completely realistic goal at this point in my life, it is an aspiration of mine that one day this dream comes true. In class we studied Weston, I grew a fondness of him, the way he uses close up filters to make such a simple object so complex and dynamic speaks to me. http://edward-weston.com/

My current work really focuses on diversity and experimentation, I am trying new, and different things, I believe that is demonstrated in my work. For example my onion picture, I really focused on using just a small piece of my subject and really played around with composition. My work is a true representation of myself and is a defining factor in my life.
